Another title for this post could be What's in the coffee cup part 2.

Good idea: Putting assorted pens, pencils, and a handy pair of scissors in cute antique looking coffee cup on desk. 

Bad Idea: Setting said coffee cup in a prime destination for being picked up and mistaken for morning coffee.

Not that this happened or anything, but anyone got an eyepatch handy?

Absence makes the puppy cough harder

I went out of town a few weekends ago and had to  leave the puppies at a boarding/kennel place.

Well, they didn't have the "bordatella" shot but the kennel assured me that they could get one when they got there and it would be okay. 

Turns out this is NOT okay.  A few days after I got home the dogs starting coughing and continued to get worse.  Sure enough, they were exposed to bordatella or what some call kennel cough before the vaccine was even effective.  GRRRR...!!

Anyway, dogs are getting better but I have a question.  I was so worried about the silly dogs that when they were coughing (it sounded AWFUL) I would do anything to get them to calm down and stop coughing.  So now, even though they don't really need to cough -- if I am near them in room they still have somewhat of a hacking cough routine.  I've noticed it doesn't occur when they are alone....  This could NOT be faked, could it? 

Are my dogs really that smart?

God determines who walks into your life... it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

Currently wondering

if I should be concerned.

There was a fly buzzing around and being extremely annoying this morning.

While multi-tasking, I took a big gulp of coffee and felt a solid substance go down my throat.

After that, I didn't see the fly buzzing around...
