Chana, what a beautiful, but heartbreaking, post. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Stopped by to see how you are. Thinking about you and your family. ;)

Joe Cool Cowboy Poet

Hi, just dropping by to make sure you're okay. Hugs, love and prayers as always, you and your family are in our prayers and our hearts.

I don't know you very well and this is only the second time I've visited your site. But I want to say that I know what you are going through. My grandad died a few years ago of very bad cancer. It was so sad because my Dad had only just in the few weeks prior re-kindled their relationship and put past all the pain and hurt in that relationship.

My grandad told my dad 25 years earlier that he would have to chose God or his father. my dad chose his relationship with God and after that their relationship suffered.

I'll never forget the day a few weeks prior to his passing when my Dad led his father in the sinners prayer. I cried and cried. It was one of the happiest moments.

In your grief just remember that he's in a better place and that he's not in pain or sick anymore and that one day you'll get to see him again. This is what helped me the weeks after Grandad died.

God Bless you!
